Veteran's Mental Health Conference

Members of RBL Guernsey Welfare team have attended the Veterans Mental Health and Forces in Mind Trust conferences at the Royal  College  of Psychiatry in London with local Psychologist Rev. Dr Adrian  Datta.

The two day event provided an opportunity to listen to up to date research on causes of poor mental health and new approaches to treatment for Military Personnel and Veterans.  During the two day visit there were many networking opportunities for the  delegates who  have returned to the island with fresh ideas and contacts to help in this aspect of the RBL Welfare service.

Dr Datta supports the local Welfare team with their Psychology Support Service. 

The RBL Guernsey Psychology Support Service offers 4 consultations with a Psychologist for any Veteran in Guernsey.  The service is confidential between the Psychologist and the Veteran and has a dedicated phone line which is open from 07.30 to 19.30 daily.  07781 131389."
